Empowering women in small-scale fisheries for sustainable food systems

This paper outlines the application of the principles of the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (the SSF Guidelines) in FAO member countries and regions. The workshop clarified the scope of the project and it was agreed that project activities will focus on using small fish (small pelagic) value chains to increase the quantity and quality of small fish and fish products for human consumption and trade 56 pp.

Gender mainstreaming and climate resilience in Zambia’s cashew sector: insights for adaptation planners
