In the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, FAO is helping rural men and women farmers restore and diversify their livelihoods, and strengthen their resilience to future shocks and stresses.

In Nicaragua, FAO's Forest and Farm Facility works with the Mayaring Cooperative, a women-only community-based organization of 26 women from the Mayagna indigenous group. The Cooperative produces wood-based handicrafts from native tuno trees.
