In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, developing countries need urgent support. The event will discuss the potential of deepening partnerships and joint action at a time when we know development strategies and budgets are being realigned. The objectives are to consult with partners on FAO's COVID-19 Response and Recovery Programme priority areas; to discuss opportunities for partnership in responding to immediate humanitarian food crises, as well as longer-term development actions; and to mobilize all forms of resources and partnerships for joint results at all levels.
