Methodology Validation Workshop: National Scale Geospatial and Temporal Agricultural Value Chain Assessment

FAO recently conducted a methodology validation workshop for the project "Strengthening Agricultural Value Chain through Geospatial Value Chain Analysis." The project aims to assess the national-scale geospatial and temporal agricultural value chain in Myanmar, identifying priority chains for targeted interventions. The FAO's geospatial unit (NSL) is providing technical guidance on geospatial inputs for agricultural value chains. The workshop, held on May 16th, gathered key stakeholders from government agencies, experts, and the private sector. Discussions focused on validating and refining the assessment methodology. Participants reviewed data collection techniques, defined the analysis scope, and identified key indicators for evaluating value chain performance.
