Components
The Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI) partners coordinate their activities across four interlinked components:
- capacity building (CB);
- data coordination (DC);
- methods and guidance documentation (MGD); and
- research and development coordination (R&D).
These four components are the priority work areas of the initiative and are driven by the contributions of GFOI partners.
