The Global Forest Resources Assessment (FRA 2020) is the latest in the series of assessments that the GFOI partner Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has conducted every 5 to ten years since 1946, as requested by its member states.

FRA 2020 examines the status of, and trends in, more than 60 forest-related variables in 236 countries and territories in the period 1990–2020.

The  FRA 2020 key findings will be released on 7 May 2020. The main report, country reports, data dissemination platform and other products will be released in the following months.
