The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), a Lead partner of the Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI), is hosting an expert workshop with Purdue University under the AIM4Forests programme to advance the use of AI-driven technologies in forest growth monitoring and carbon mitigation. The workshop will focus on validating methodologies, enhancing data integration and refining policy applications for improved forest carbon accounting.
