Held 18 June 2025 from 12:00 to 13:15 CEST in the context of the Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB 62), the side event "Use of global data sets in national GHG reporting" will focus on Earth Observation (EO) data and derived global information used in countries' greenhouse gas (GHG) and nationally determined contribution (NDC) reporting, as well as questions related to mitigation. Practical use cases of systematic EO for GHG emissions and removals will be presented.
