A special issue of the “Remote Sensing” Journal, under "Forest Remote Sensing, is open for submissions on “National REDD+ Monitoring and Reporting”. The deadline is 29 May 2020.

Contributors are welcome to submit national or local case studies related to humid and dry forests. The manuscripts can cover different monitoring targets through innovative methods, especially using open methods and free data.

Submissions could also feature discussions on frameworks for reporting requirements and needs, as well as concepts related to policymaking (e.g. early warning forest monitoring systems, monitoring of deforestation drivers, etc.).
