Online course: Forests and transparency under the Paris Agreement

02 August 2021

GFOI partner the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation (FAO) is launching a new online course on forests and transparency under the Paris Agreement and you’re invited!

The massive online open course (MOOC) will explore the role that national forest monitoring systems (NFMS) can play in the implementation of the Paris Agreement, specifically the enhanced transparency framework (ETF) and ultimately the goal of limiting global temperature rise to below 1.5 degrees Celsius.

This course has been developed under the project Building Global Capacity to Increase Transparency in the Forest sector (CBIT-Forest) in collaboration with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and is open to all interested parties.
