The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has officially opened the 2025 call for applications for the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) grants. This initiative provides direct financial support and technical assistance to strengthen forest and farm producer organizations, including smallholders, rural women’s groups, local communities, and Indigenous Peoples’ institutions.

Collectively, forest and farm producers play a crucial role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addressing climate change at a landscape level. By empowering these groups, the FFF enhances sustainable livelihoods, strengthens resilience, and promotes environmentally responsible practices.

About the Forest and Farm Facility

The Forest and Farm Facility is a global partnership between the FAO, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and AgriCord. Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, the United States of America, the Netherlands, and IKEA generously fund the program.
