In occasion of the 6th meeting of the GIAHS Scientific Advisory Group (SAG), from 8 to 9 March 2018, 2 new agricultural systems in Japan were approved and designated as Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems: - Nishi-Awa Steep Slope Land Agriculture System - Traditional Wasabi Cultivation in Shizuoka Click the names of the sits to discover the unique features of these new systems.
  In occasion of the 2nd Symposium on Agroecology, which will be held in FAO Headquarters from the the 3rd to the 5th April, GIAHS success stories will be shared to give the opportunity to discover how our Programme and this initiative are strongly linked.
