FAO is pleased to announce the Regional Webinar on Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) for Latin America and the Caribbean, which will be held on next December 14^th and 15^th 2021 as part of a series of online workshops to reactivate the Latin American Network on GIAHS.

The event will focus on the main achievements of the GIAHS Programme since 2015 and will address needs, share best practices and explore opportunities in existing and future GIAHS sites. The discussion will provide an opportunity for setting the basis of a common strategy for future developments of the Programme in the Region, by collecting suggestions from regional stakeholders.
