23/07/2021,

On 19 July 2021, the Government of the Republic of Belarus introduced a temporary ban on exports of wheat flour, spelt flour, coarsely ground buckwheat groats, hulled buckwheat grain and finished buckwheat food products. The ban applies to exports towards all countries, including countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and is valid for three months. The measure follows an earlier ban on grain exports introduced by the government, and scheduled to last from 14 April until 21 July 2021, and a ban on buckwheat exports to countries outside the EAEU, enforced by the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on 16 June (FPMA Food Policy) that effectively extended the national ban until 31 August 2021.
