The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) held two webinars on the use of the FoodEx2 classification system in September and October 2018. FoodEx2 is a comprehensive food classification and description system aimed at covering the need to describe foods in a harmonised way.

FAO and the Intake Center for Dietary Assessment have jointly convened a meeting about “Dietary Data Collection, Analysis and Use: Taking Stock of Country Experiences and Promising Practices in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” on 11–13 December 2019 at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

Call for Expression of Interest: Funds available!

The Food and Nutrition Division at FAO led a 3-week training course with 25 participants gathered in Vientiane, Lao PDR and others on Zoom to explain how to use dietary data.
