粮农组织/世卫组织GIFT平台于2022年5月6日（美国东部时间7时30分至9时/欧洲中部夏令时间13时30分至15时）在科技创新论坛会外活动上演示。在此之前，对整个联合国系统的数字相关倡议进行了摸底，收到了来自39个联合国实体的489份资料。
