In a live dialogue mode, there will be a discussion on the priority tasks and accumulated experience in environmental rationing and agroecological assessment of cadmium content in phosphorus fertilizers, food and soil to solve global challenges of food and environmental security of the XXI century.

The leading experts will present their vision and discuss agroecologically sound regulation of cadmium content in mineral fertilizers, taking into account:

  • Background cadmium content in arable soils and regional typological features of the soil absorbing complex;
  • Agroecological features of cadmium accumulation in plant products obtained on soils of different texture and level of agrogenic degradation;
  • Potential mobility of the cadmium coming with fertilizers in the global climate change conditions, its regional characteristics and different soil cover patterns;
  • Recommended doses of phosphorus fertilizers for the main agricultural crops with increasing differentiation in the intensity levels of applied agricultural technologies;
  • Need for a systematic solution to the tasks of minimizing the environmental and economic risks of crop production and livestock breeding to address the global challenges of food systems and environmental security of the XXI century.

A wide range of representatives of different levels of executive and legislative authorities interested in the development of environmentally safe and sustainably profitable agricultural production in Russia and in the world, Russian and foreign experts and young scientists, innovation-oriented businessmen, students, and teachers from different countries are invited to participate in the webinar.
