FAO has partnered with The International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education (ICARE), an Armenian non-governmental and non-commercial organization, to support the Statistical Committee of Armenia (Armstat) in integrating the AGRISurvey approach in the Armenian agricultural survey system.
In particular AGRISurvey programme is supporting the country in:
- The development of questionnaires on agricultural production, inputs and income of the agricultural holdings starting with the review of the current data collection practices and assessing the users’ needs for agricultural data;
- The development of a Master Sampling Frame;
- Training on using CAPI for data collection;
- Training the enumerators and organizing the pilot tests;
- The development of manuals for annual and quarterly questionnaires;
- Implementing representative surveys in 4 Marzes (Regions).
