Forest monitoring for climate finance and indigenous governance

This workshop will serve as a space for sharing experiences and discussing the role of Indigenous Peoples and other traditional forest communities in forest monitoring, including measurement, reporting and verification (MRV), as well as their participation in decision-making processes for more equitable and effective management.

It also aims to define a roadmap to foster learning and expand technical training opportunities, within the framework of a Community of Practice on forest monitoring under the AIM4Forests programme.
