Boosting transparency of forest data

Visit of GLOFOR and IFSA students to FAO’s Forestry Division

19/06/2025

As part of their educational trip to Rome, a group of 20 to 25 forestry students from the Global Forestry Master’s Programme, the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA), and the University of Padua will visit FAO’s Forestry Division (NFO).

This educational and networking visit is part of the IFSA’s engagement plan/activities jointly implemented with CBIT-Forest project and the Forest monitoring and data platforms team of the Forestry Division (NFO). It offers a unique opportunity for participating students to directly engage with NFO professionals and gain practical exposure to the organization’s work at the global level.
