The first  CountrySTAT – Gambia Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting was held at the ICT Training Centre, Kanifing, Gambia from 17 to 21 December 2012. Primary objectives of the 1st Technical Working Group (TWG) CountrySTAT Meeting were:

• To review, check and validate the datasets from the Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) sector to be uploaded in the CountrySTAT database.
• To train the TWG members and National CountrySTAT Secretariat on CountrySTAT database formats and systems.
• To consolidate and harmonize the ANR datasets.

The 1st  CountrySTAT Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting in Gambia met  its objectives with success. After the training, National CountrySTAT Secretariat and TWG members  reviewed, checked, validated and uploaded 30 datasets to the CountrySTAT database.
