This Survey Timeline is an interactive tool that provides an overview of the scientific expeditions conducted with the use of the R/V Dr Fridtjof Nansen from 2017 to 2022, including survey timeline, survey objectives, geographic scope and participation.  Overall, the aim of the surveys is to collect data and information on marine resources, the marine environment and pollution, with the Programme’s partner countries and regional organizations around Africa and in the Bay of Bengal to support fisheries and environmental management. The surveys also provide the data for the research projects under the umbrella of the EAF-Nansen Science Plan.
