The Food and Agriculture Organization of
the United Nations (FAO), with technical support from the Trust in Animals and
Food Safety (TAFS) Forum, is pleased to invite you to the launch meeting for
the African swine fever (ASF) information exchange platform.
The platform is intended to provide both a source of reliable information for the public and a forum for all stakeholders from animal health and food production sectors to learn about disease control and to share their success stories with controlling and managing ASF. Through regular, simple exchanges, including practical experience, it is envisaged that the platform will provide a venue for mutual benefit for stakeholders.
If you are working in the private sector, and currently working on ASF prevention and control, then you are invited to this in-person meeting. There are limited places for the meeting so please register here to express your interest.
Please note that while this is an event open to the public working on the specified sector, FAO will not be able to provide funding for travel or accommodation. Attendance to this event and subsequent participation to the platform is voluntary.
