The use of advanced technologies such as Earth Observation (EO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how agricultural data is collected, analyzed, and applied. These tools offer innovative solutions to traditional challenges, improving the accuracy, efficiency, and impact of agricultural statistics in supporting public policies and addressing global issues like food security and climate change.
On December 18 at 11 am, the UN Hub for Big Data in Brazil will carry out a webinar on innovations in agricultural statistics by means of Earth Observation (EO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Also available in Spanish, the webinar aims at fostering a regional dialog on the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to transform agricultural data into instruments of significant change. The speaker will be Lorenzo de Simone, a technical advisor of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
