Ankara - During 12 - 15 February 2022, the Kızılay Metro Station will host a Grown for a bin photo exhibition, which is jointly organised by the Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara, Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey as part of the national movement against food loss and waste in Turkey. 

The exhibition comprises 32 photographs by the Austrian artist Klaus Pichler portraying food products in various stages of decay – the extreme extent of food waste. The provocative way that food waste is depicted is intended to bring public attention to the issue and foster action at all levels. 

The exhibition will open on 12 February with a visit of high officials representing Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey and the Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara.
