The booklet "I am learning and coloring fish" gives children brief information about different types of fish. The main purpose of the booklet is to increase children's awareness of fish. Part of the booklet is intended for coloring. The study has been developed as part of the project "Capacity Development for Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Management in Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye".  

This study reflects on the workshop which was formulated under the project “Capacity Building for Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Management in Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Türkiye (FISHCap): GCP/SEC/013/TUR” implemented under the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programme on Food and Agriculture (FTPP II) funded by the Government of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Overview of Food Security in the Countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) provides a comprehensive review of the current status of food security in the region, highlighting the characteristics of food security, trends, challenges and recommendations. The publication brings together the latest and reliable data to provide the most up-to-date food security overview of the ECO region. The completion of the publication will also provide a timely opportunity to update the Regional Food Security Programme of ECO which was developed in 2008.

Отчет является результатом двухдневного вебинара, организованного в рамках проекта «Создание потенциала в интересах устойчивого управления рыбным хозяйством и аквакультурой в Центральной Азии, Азербайджане и Турции (FISHCap), разработанного в рамках Программы партнерства ФАО-Турция (ППФТ II). Вебинар преследовал две цели: (i) познакомить участников с принципами и методами выращивания карпа в Евразии и (ii) поделиться знаниями о современных и инновационных технологиях выращивания карпа. В вебинаре приняли участие более 100 участников, в том числе эксперты, фермеры, исследователи, представители ассоциаций и компаний рыбаков/рыбоводов, а также сотрудники министерств.

FAO ve Türkiye, ülkenin 1948'de Örgüte katılmasından bu yana sağlam bir ortaklığa sahiptir. FAO ve diğer ortakların geniş kapsamlı yardımlarından yararlanan Türkiye yıllar içinde, özellikle Orta Asya alt bölgesi içinde FAO'nun faaliyetlerine vazgeçilmez teknik ve mali destek sağlayarak aktif bir kaynak ortağı haline geldi. Bu rapor, FAO-Türkiye Gıda ve Tarım Ortaklık Programı (FTPP II) kapsamında geliştirilen “Orta Asya, Azerbaycan ve Türkiye'de Sürdürülebilir Balıkçılık ve Su Ürünleri Yetiştiriciliği Yönetimi için Kapasite Geliştirme (FISHCap)” başlıklı proje kapsamında düzenlenen iki günlük bir sanal seminerin çıktısı. Seminerinin iki amacı vardı: (i) katılıcıları Avrasya'da sazan yetiştiriciliği ilke ve teknikleriyle tanıştırmak (ii) sazan yetiştiriciliğinde modern ve yenilikçi teknolojiler hakkında bilgi paylaşımı. 

Küçük ölçekli balıkçıların denizde güvenliğiyle ilgili bu kılavuzun amacı, balıkçılıkla geçinen insanlar arasında güvenlik kültürüne katkıda bulunmak, kazaların sayısını azaltmak ve meydana gelen kazalarda hayatta kalma şansını arttırmaktır. Bu kılavuzda küçük ölçekli balıkçı teknelerinde gerçekleştirilen işlerle ilgili güvenlik (yangın güvenliği, güverte güvenliği, cankurtaran tertibatı, aydınlatma ve havalandırma gibi), kişisel güvenlik ve seyir güvenliği konularında rehberlik sağlanmıştır. Av yolculuklarından önce gerçekleştirilmesi gereken kontrol ve prosedürler ile denizde hayatta kalma rehberi de bu kılavuz içerisinde yer almaktadır.
