The booklet presents the key findings of the global capacity needs assessment conducted by the Task Force on Best Practices of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. The assessment was undertaken to provide a baseline of existing capacities across people, organizations, networks, partnerships and the enabling environment; help identify strengths, gaps, needs and barriers to achieving and sustaining global restoration goals; and guide the Decade’s system-wide capacity development efforts by mainstreaming restoration capabilities into regional and national knowledge and learning action plan
