This course, based on the FAO and World Resources Institute (WRI) publication The road to restoration: A guide to identifying priorities and indicators for monitoring forest and landscape restoration, aims to equip practitioners with the capacity to design, plan and implement monitoring systems for forest and landscape restoration (FLR).

It will examine why monitoring is important for FLR, how to choose appropriate indicators to meet restoration objectives and how to design a restoration monitoring framework.
