The GBEP Bioenergy Week brings together bioenergy experts, decision-makers, and private sector representatives to discuss bioenergy's current trends, future prospects, and challenges. Past events facilitated the exchange of best practices, enhancing agricultural productivity, optimizing feedstock logistics, and promoting modern conversion technologies.

In 2023, the 10th Bioenergy Week focuses on sustainable bioenergy integration in food production chains, aiding the development of bioenergy policies in Asia-Pacific. We continue to engage with the private sector and other stakeholders to promote sustainable bioenergy production and usage.

The 10th Bioenergy Week was organized by the FAO in the context of the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP), hosted by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, Thailand with the contribution of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the financial support of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, U.S. Grains Council and World Bioenergy Association.
