The Gambia joined the 50x2030 Initiative in late 2023, marking a significant step towards strengthening its agricultural statistical systems. During the initial technical missions, it was identified that the country urgently required training on key topics to support the effective implementation of Agricultural Integrated Surveys, such as developing a Master Sampling Frame (MSF) and data processing techniques. To address these needs, several targeted training sessions have been incorporated into The Gambia's 2024 work programme under the Global Strategy to Improve Agricultural and Rural Statistics

• Basic Training: Basic training in agricultural statistics;
• Master Sampling Frame (MSF): Technical assistance in developing, using and maintaining a cost-effective Master Sampling Frame (MSF) to implement an integrated system of agricultural surveys;
• TOOLS: Support in improving the technical knowledge of statistical software for data analysis and dissemination;
