GLOBEFISH Webinar on Sustainability in Fisheries and Aquaculture from the Angles of Certification Schemes and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)



The main objective of this FAO GLOBEFISH webinar is to streamline the importance of sustainability from a business angle. It will present the work FAO is performing to support the sector on certification and other related actions. In addition, the webinar will have a round table with private companies, government, and small producers to highlight how different sustainability approaches were able to create market opportunities and differentiation for their products within the framework of certification or the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG).
