Webinar on Sustainable Aquatic Food Value Chains: Ecolabelling and Small-Scale Fisheries

FAO and UNCTAD are co-organizing three-part webinar series on ecolabelling and small-scale fisheries (SSF) within sustainable aquatic food value chains. Sessions will cover voluntary sustainability standards, the FAO Guidelines on Ecolabelling, the SSF Guidelines, and the UNCTAD’s Blue BioTrade scheme. They will also explore certification schemes, innovative approaches for SSF, and insights from relevant organizations. The final session will focus on lessons learned from national experiences and conclude with recommendations and next steps.
The webinar will take place on 6, 7 and 13 May 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM (CEST) on each day.
