Soybean Soup with Clams

Ingredients

soya, beans: 1 2cup
onions: 2 tablespoon
water: 3 cup
clams: 1/2 cup
ginger: 1 1/2 teaspoon
pepper, green: 1 cup
salt, table: 1 1/2 teaspoon
oil, cooking/salad: 4 tablespoon

Steps

1. Soak soybeans in water overnight. Drain off water for 5 mn and fry until golden brown. Boil in water for 45 mn. Drain (use drained water for soup stock) and remove bean coats. Set aside.
2. Saute ginger, onion and soybeans in oil for 3 mn. Add clams and cook for 1 mn. Add water and simmer for about 5 mn.
3. Add salt and green pepper leaves. Cook until done. Serve hot.
