Steps
1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
2. Add the margarine and the lard, melted together.
3. Add eggs, vanilla essence and milk.
4. Beat together.
5. Put into a well-greased oven pan.
6. Bake in a moderate oven for 1 1/2 hours.
7. Glaze with sugar and water and cut into squares.
