Spicy Lentil Balls

Ingredients

onions: 3
pepper, chili: 2
chillies: 1/4
ginger: 1 teaspoon
salt, table
peas, split: 1 cup
oil, frying

Steps

1. Soak split peas for 1-2 hours. Wash well and drain completely. Blend coarsely.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and make patties 1/2 inch diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
3. Fry patties in hot oil, a few at a time. Reduce the flame to medium. Fry till evenly brown.
4. Serve with tomato sauce.
