Meeting with permanent representatives and delegates from the 4 Kagera countries
The meeting with FAO Permanent Representatives and Delegates from countries sharing the Kagera River Basin took place on the 18 June 2010. The welcome allocutions were addresse by A. Müller, ADG and Parviz Koohafkan, Director Land and water division. Sally Bunning made a presentation of the Kagera project. Two other presentations by Mr Dominique Lantieri on TerrAfrica and SLM in FAO and Mr Pasquale Steduto on the Nile basin project and water management were given.
