Exchange and capacity-building workshop for members of the Technical Advisory Committee

A two-day meeting which took place in Thiès, Senegal, from 5 to 6 February 2020 gathered representatives of the identified ministries and state structures, the Organization for the Development of the Senegal River (OMVS), the Society for Development and Exploitation of the Delta Lands (SAED), the Directorate of Water Resources Management and Planning (DGPRE), the Ecological Monitoring Center (CSE), representatives of civil society organizations, universities and research institutions, the private sector, as well as representatives of international organizations and technical and financial partners.
The objective was to report on progress on all the activities and studies already carried out to improve water governance in Senegal.
