The Water Tenure Mondays webinar series creates a forum for building a stronger water tenure concept and pursues FAO’s efforts in broadening the knowledge base of its application to achieve more equitable and secure access to water, even in conditions of scarcity. 

Monday, 27 September, Stephen Hodgson, International Environmental Lawyer, will present “Scope and scale: Water tenure and the use and governance of transboundary water resources”. The aim of this webinar is to explore the relationship between water tenure and the governance and use of transboundary water resources.  

Stephen Hodgson is an International Environmental Lawyer, FAO Senior legal consultant and author of many books and articles, such as: Exploring the concept of water tenure (FAO, 2016); Modern water rights: theory and practice (FAO,2017); and Land & Water: The Rights Divergence (World Bank, 2019).
