Community Engagement Days - Community Engagement for Resilience and Peace

The webinar "Community Engagement for Resilience and Peace" is part of the series of five webinars called “Community Engagement Days.” The objective of the series is to review achievements, potential and challenges of community engagement for empowerment approaches in rural development and humanitarian interventions and strategies.

This third webinar aims at examining the role of community engagement approaches in strengthening resilience and facilitating peacebuilding in conflict-affected and fragile contexts. The objective is also to discuss the importance of integrating such approaches in development and humanitarian programs and strategies.

This series is organized by the Dimitra Clubs Team of the Rural Institutions, Services and People's Empowerment (RISE) Team of FAO with the support of the Flexible Multi-Partner Mechanism (FMM) and in collaboration with the Belgian Development Cooperation.

                 Interpretation available in English, French and Spanish. The session will be recorded.
