The webinar on experience capitalization and good practices in ICTs in agriculture is part of the “Call for good and/or promising practices on the use of ICTs in agriculture” and will provide the members of the e-Agriculture Community of Practice (COP) and other participants in the call with the necessary tools and methodology. The webinar will be delivered in three languages in the following days:

• 25 th of May 2017 – 16h CEST - in French

Speakers:

• Jorge Chavez-Tafur is an Associate Programme Coordinator (Knowledge Management) at Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and author of the e-learning module « Experience Capitalization for Continuous Learning ». He has been working on experience capitalization and systematization for many years, using different methodologies in the field.
• Alice Van der Elstraeten is an Information Management Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and co-author of the learning module «Experience Capitalization for Continuous learning ». She has been working on knowledge and information management for different organizations in different parts of the world. She is a member of the e-Agriculture team.

Moreover, through a discussion forum, participants will be able to ask questions to the specialists from FAO and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) on how to use experience capitalization and on how to document an ICT for agriculture experience as a good or promising practice. The discussion forum will be ongoing from 26th of April till the 31st of June 2017.
