The Global Report on Food Crises 2018 will be presented in Brussels on 18 April 2018 at the Lunchtime Conference External Cooperation Infopoint.
The Global report on Food Crises presents a global picture of acute food insecurity based on an accurate and comprehensive analysis of food crises and proved catalytic in heightening awareness of the magnitude and severity of food crises and in mobilizing international responses. The report is the result of a strategic partnership between 12 members, following the initiative of the European Union (EU), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP).
In its second edition, the Global Report on Food Crises is acknowledged as a reference document for food crises and is part of a broader effort to enhance coordination of analyses and responses.
