The first  Gobeshona Conference, Research into Action on Locally-Led Adaptation, an event fully virtual, will be held on January 18th, 16:00-17:30 UTC. "From measuring resilience to advancing resilience practice" as part of the Conference, the event will comprise two short panels:

• Advancing resilience measurement in the 2020’s; will offer perspectives on what Resilience Measurement has achieved over the past decade, and the opportunities for the next generation of resilience measurement to further support ‘research into action’.
• Reflections on how research and measurement can shape action; will offer insights from coalition members on what key decision-makers (communities, cities, local governments, national policy-makers, private sector) need and want from resilience measurement to better guide locally-led adaptation.
