WaPOR to initiate activities in Morocco

The FAO and the Moroccan Centre de Ressources du Pilier II du Plan Maroc Vert (CRP2) signed a letter of agreement to ensure the development of water and agriculture geo-services in the basin of Oum Er Rbia, using WaPOR data and methodologies.

This was the first opportunity for the FAO WaPOR team to gather in-person. 10 FAO national coordinators travelling from WaPOR project countries (plus one on-line from Sudan) joined the team based in Rome.
