WaPOR, remote sensing for water productivity

The programme on WaPOR, FAO’s portal to monitor Water Productivity through Open-access of Remotely sensed derived data is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and implemented by FAO.

The main partners are IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).

Through an open selection procedure, a FRAME Consortium has been appointed for the development of the input database variables, which are used to calculate water and land productivity (see consortium members on the right column).
