Increasing responsible investment in agri-food systems is one of the most effective strategies for reducing hunger and poverty. Parliamentarians play a catalytic role in ensuring that investments in agri-food systems are responsible and adequate for reducing hunger and poverty. The handbook on responsible investment in agriculture and food systems provides tools for action and guides parliamentarians in the creation of legal frameworks and incentives to make agriculture more sustainable, inclusive and resilient, while mitigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
