Food security and agriculture: accelerating adaptation (SAGA 2)

Local financing for women climate change adaptation in the Kaolack region

Country Senegal
Start date 19/08/2024
End date 15/08/2025
Status Active
Objective / Goal The initiative aims to support sustainable financing for climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions for vulnerable populations, particularly female farmers in the Kaolack region in Senegal. Limited access to credit makes adaptation challenging for these women, putting their agricultural production at risk due to the impacts of climate change.
