The FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific invites professional and aspiring photographers to submit entries to the Bioeconomy Photo Contest 2025. Through your photos, help raise awareness about reducing food loss and waste, building sustainable agrifood systems, and creating a greener, more resilient future.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: Fully funded trip to the Bioeconomy Innovations and Investments Forum (BIIF 2025) in Bangkok, 25–27 November 2025
• 2nd & 3rd Prize: FAO merchandise
• Top 10 entries: “Certificate of Achievement” 

Key Details

• Open to individuals aged 18 and above from across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Submit up to 3 original photos (taken after 1 Jan 2022)
• Entries must be in JPEG format, minimum 3000px wide, max 5MB
• Contest opens: 1 October 2025 | Closes: 21 October 2025, 23:59 (Bangkok time)
