The impacts of wild meat value chains on biodiversity, food security and health - ICCB 2025 symposium

This video was recorded during the 2025 International Congress for Conservation Biology (ICCB 2025). The SWM Programme and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) co-organized the Symposium: ‘’From Forest to Fork: the impacts of wild meat value chains on biodiversity, food security and health’’. The Symposium brought together a group of organizations specializing in wild meat and who are working to support decision-makers to manage wild meat value chains in a more sustainable and equitable manner.

The SWM Programme is an international initiative, co-funded by the European Union, the French Facility for Global Environment and the French Development Agency. It is being implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), the Centre for International Forestry Research (CIFOR-ICRAF) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
