Constructing markets for agroecology

The purpose of this study is to explore whether and how products from agroecological production systems are being valued in markets. The study is based on a meta-analysis of 12 case studies in Benin, the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Kazakhstan, Mozambique, Namibia, and Uganda. The publication presents a unique approach to how markets are built for agro-ecological products, to support small-scale actors in their initiatives to produce and market their products, and to contribute to more sustainable food systems.
