The Ministry of Youth and Sports and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) hosted today the Farmers’ Regeneration Summit in Jakarta to conclude the Cool Agripreneur programme, a joint initiative to empower youth’s capacity on innovative farming systems and entrepreneurship.
The Community African Swine Fever Biosecurity Interventions (CABI) Programme, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), officially concluded on a high note today with a national dissemination workshop in Jakarta. The programme aimed to strengthen pig farmers’ resilience against African swine fever (ASF) while protecting livelihoods and strengthening national food security.
As part of efforts to reduce Indonesia’s growing food loss, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) concluded today in Jakarta a four-day workshop to leverage the country’s data to monitor and reduce food loss through the Food Loss Index (FLI).
